Project # in dining room
Yesterday, I went to Lowe to get the stairs casing. My next project is to add the crowning in the dining room. So, here I am having all the materials that I need to get my project done. I got three 10 foot long and one 8 foot long crowning. The saw, nails, glues gun, stub censor, etc. I started one side of the wall last night with the help from Fred, holding the 10 foot long crowning for me. I put the glue and put some nails to hold the crowning. The hardest thing is to get the edge put together, since I don't have any tool to cut the angels. I am kind of guessing how much I need to cut for the angel. Well, I think I did okay. This morning, I decided to finish the rest of the dining room. It gets easier and faster especially after I know how much angle I should cut. If I didn't cut the angles quite right, I just used the cualking to fill up the gaps. Not bad. Not to mention that, I got two little helpers to hold the crowning and passed me the tools. It is an easy project for me to do and it only takes 2-3 hours to put up the crowning. I need to paint them later. Ah, By the way, Kayley tried to help me to take pictures (before and after), then she accidentally dropped the camera. Usually, it didn't break the camera, but this time, I guess the lens went down the ground first. When I turned the camera on, I got the lense error. When Fred came home from work and told him the camera was broken, he said well it was time to get a new one anyway. I guess we are going to get a new and better one soon. Good thing I have the videocam that I still can take pictures. Hey! Don't forget to check out the before and after pictures :) The next project will be painting.. HMmm, what color are we going to pick for dining room???

Family meeting
After church and lunch, Dad is taking a rest downstair in his room and Mom was taking a nap with Bbay Bryden. After 45 minutes nap, Preston came upstair and woke me up telling me to wake up. He told me that we were going to have a family meeting in the living room and it is important. I told him that if he knew mommy was taking a nap with your baby brother. Don't wake us up. After 5 minutes, he came up again and asked me to get up. He emphasized how important it was. I didn't know why we have a family meeting in the middle of the day while Daddy was taking a rest downstair. Well, I thought I should go down and see what happened. When I got down, I saw Fred just waking up from his nap too. Preston then asked everyone to sit down at specific seat. Then, he asked us to take turn to open our red pocket. We took turn to read and it is very heartfelt and sweet note he wrote.
Preston has a very good and kind heart. He wrote every one of us a note saying how much he loves us. He put the note with coins in the red pocket. When we asked him where he got the coins, he smiled and said he got it from the yogurt cup where we put our changes there. He is very funny that he didn't use his money to put in the red pockets. Anyway, he is such a good example to us and his sibling. He consistently demostrates his leadership around the house. I am grateful to have him in our life.

Bryden crawls down the stairs
At his 16 months, he starts to learn to crawl down the stairs. In the past, he just knew how to climb up the stairs and very careful not to go down the stairs. Everytime, he gets to the edge of the top step, he would stop and not even dare to stretch his legs out. It seems that he knows it is dangerous to walk down the stairs by himself. Since yesterday, I notice that he would get himself down the top of the stairs, then push his hands down to the steps. It is funny to see him to do that without making any scary noises. You can tell he is learning to get his way around. Now, he can climb up and crawl down the stairs freely. He is getting very active nowaday.
