GT Mock Trial

This is our future Lawyer. He loves his suit very much. He looks so sharp and hardsome :)

Preston gets ready for his part as a lawyer. This is his first mock trial that the GT teacher organized. It was so much fun seeing the kids enjoy each other and learn all those big words or vocabulary in the courtroom.

The 1st grade GT kids just finished their Mock Trail.

Quentin - Celebration of Learning

Today, it is Kindergartener Celebration. We went to the hall and each class took turn to take the stage and the teacher presented what the student's favorite part of kindergarten. For Quentin, his favorite part of the kindergarten is to count 1 to 100. He has done well in his kindergarten year . Ms. Bennett is very pleased and proud of the hard work and progress that Quentin has done.

After we were through all the classes, we went back to our own classroom and the teacher presented a video with all the kids activities througout the school year. Good thing is we can keep a copy and I am sure Quentin will love to watch it over and over again. Can't believe he is going to be a 1st grader next school year.

Bryden - 2 years old

Bryden just turns two today. He was so happy and excited when he saw the birthday cake. I think he didn't quite know it was his birthday. But you can tell he has a big smile on his face the whole time and when he blew the candles, he looked so cute and adorable. His sibling even gave him a birthday present and card. Preston gave him a toy binocular and gecko. Quentin gave him his christmas pillow he made at pre-school 2 years ago. Kayley gave Bryden a ......... They are very lovable and care their little brother very much. For sure, Bryden didn't burn his finger when he blew the candles out :)
Looked at Bryden face, he was very much happy and can't keep his eye off the cake.

He ate quite a bit of his cake. Yummmmm!!!!!!

Pre-K Celebration of Learning

Time does go by fast. There is only a week left from school. Today the school has celebration of learning for Pre-K. We went to her classroom and the teacher 'Mrs. Humprey' prepared a very cute presentation to our parents. It was fun to see what Kayley had learned during the school year. They did the song 'who let the abc out' and the sign language song. Kayley has learned alot of signs during the school year, plus we checked out the sign language video out from the library. She is very smart little girl and know all her abc letter signs and other cool signs.

There was a part that the teacher said what the students' best part of Pre-K and what they want to be when they grow up. For Kayley, she said her best part of Pre-K is to be a helper and when she grows up, she wants to be a mom. She is so cute. I know that she will be a good mother someday when she grows up and I can't wait to be a grandmom :)

1st grader Field Day

There are only two weeks left from school. They have field day for all grades. I got to go to Preston's 1st grade field day. It is nice to see all kinds of different games they have and how it works.
Preston reached to the third bar which is good.

He got two goals.

It is hard to play the tick-tack-toe with all the big hola-loop.

I didn't know they have those little cute carts that you just move to the left and right to get the carts moving forward.

It is fun to see Preston do all those of games and how good he is.

Second, starts to paint the white

Finally, it is done and Daddy help to put it together.

This is my Project #5 in the house is to paint Kayley's bed to white. I am kind of tired with all the painting around different rooms and bed. But, it did pay off after all the times and hard work. It looks very pretty. And Most importantly, Kayley loves her 'new' bed.

AR recognition

Preston had been reading hard from the beginning of the school year. Since it was his first year in OKE, we didn't know how much or how many books he needs to read in order to reach to the Star Level. So, at the last month of the school year, I realized that he probably wouldn't be able to make it to the star level if we only took 5-6 books a week. Luckily, he had a good teacher Ms. Marsh, with her help, Preston was able to take more AR books during the class in the last three weeks (good thing he finished his work fast so he had extra time to take the tests). He had read about 70 books in three weeks and reached to the Star level. He is so determined to reach to Star level. With all his hard work, he deserved all the prizes. He also got the third place of the AR in 1st grade. We were very proud of his determination and hard work.
