Preston's first soccer game (FFPS)

Yes, it is our first Soccer season ever and it starts today. The weather is very nice. Preston's first game start at and we had to meet in front of the Creek elementary to deocrate our car for the team. We reserved one side for Preston #3, and Quentin #2. Both boys are excited. We have a good experience with ffps and they are very positive about coaching and training the boys. Preston is kind of afraid getting the ball and be aggressive. But, he has fun after his first game. His teammates are great too. Of course, everyone in the family to support our boys. Bryden has been kicking the ball around. He seems nature and love scoccer.

There will have a lot of times fo him to get better and learn to play the game. On the other hand, Quentin seems like a pro. He is not afraid of getting into anybody, he has a great defend and offense. He got the ball and drove in the other side and made goal. He made two goals in his first game. Way to go! It happens his classmate also in tthe same team. His name is Chaze. He is very fun loving fun and it is his 2nd or 3rd season.

Today is my birthday

Quentin's card for Mommy

Kayley's card for Mommy

Preston's card and coupons for Mommy
We were going home from the camping trip today. After packing up all the camping stuff, we headed to do the fun sciences activities which was organized by Sister Rice. She did a great job in the activity. It is just like the mad sciences project. We did the shooting rocket, UV beads, making the snow and worms. The kids had so much fun. Then, we took the whole group picture . Well! Since we had a large group of people, we couldn't really gather everybody in the picture, but we got most of them. Fred said that we were going to eat out for my birthday. On the way home, we went to Kim Sum in China Town for lunch. The foods are good and Kayley ate 3 bowls of wonton. When we got home, we unpacked and the kids helped. In the evening, Preston started to ask me for some blank papers. I gave it to him, then Quentin and Kayley joined in making me a birthday card each. I just tried to clean up everything and let them to do their cards. They are so cute and sweet. Quentin finished his card first, and he ran up to his room, opening his piggy bank. Bringing $1 down and giving me the card and $1, he was such a good boy to mama. Then, he gave me a big hug and said happy birthday. My heart was melted. Then, Kayley finished and she went up her room and took out her piggy bank. She took out $1.46 and handed to me. She said you could go and shop. Hmm, how much can I really buy with a $1.46? I thought she is so cute. Preston took his time to make his card and did the same thing what Quentin and Kayley did. He gave me $1.61, plus the coupon books. It has 'mop the floor', set up the table,' turn off thelight', 'clean up the table', 'clean up the pencils', 'clean up the books', 'clean the dishes'. Everything is 'Free'. When I needed help, I definitely need those coupons. I know that they love their mommy very much. It totall mellowed my heart to them and they are so precious. I love them dearly.

Preston's First testimony

I told myself that I better hurry and write that down in a blog. Today, it is Preston's first time to get up and bear his testimony all by himself. He shared his testimony of the holy ghost. During the sacrament meeting, I signaled him if he was willing to share his testimony. The night before, when I was brushing my teeth in my bathroom, he came down from upstair and told me that he heard the holy ghost. He told me that while he was playing game with Dad, his mind was blank and then the holy ghost told him that he left his glasses in the backyard. I thought wow, the companionship of the holy ghost is with Preston and glad to hear that he is in tune with the spirit and realize that the holy ghost reminded him he left his glasses in the backyard. So, he got a piece of paper and wrote down his testimony and prepared to bear his first ever testimony. I was so proud of him and when he got up to the stage, he was very calm.

Preston's Baptism

'Today is a very special day for you.' That what we have been telling Preston. He turned eight last month and the stake baptism date is scheduled on 2/5. However, we had stake conference that day, so Preston's baptism changes to 2/12 which is today Saturday. Time does fly and when he was borned in South Carolina. I was asking myself when he would turn eight. Now he is eight, he starts the boy scout program. It seems a new chapter of my life. It is an interesting thought for me. Anyway, he is so excited about his baptism and I am sure that he is longed to be a member of the church. We had talked about the ordinances of the baptism and helped him to understand why he needed to get baptized. We did our own baptism program since he was the only one get baptized this month. We had Brother Russ Shurtz to do the baptism talk, and Brother Ebert to do the gift of the holy ghost. Both gave a wonderful talk. And Preston did his own musical. He played the hymn 'He sent his son' and the 'Baptism'.
